Shatta Wale’s respect and fondness of the late Terry Bonchaka seems not have ebbed away.
The ‘Gringo’ hitmaker has told Jessica Opare Saforo on Citi FM that he usually goes to the late dancehall musician’s grave to pay respect to him.
According to him even though Terry did not last in the music industry, he really paid his dues.
He added that given a chance to bring any dead artiste back to life, he would not hesitate to choose Terry.
“Terry bonchaka is one person I would love to bring back if I had the chance. I loved his style. From time to time, the boys and I visit his grave. We want Ghanaians to remember his legacy. He is on the #ReignALBUM,” he said.
Terry Bonchaka died on 29th October 2003 in a car accident while returning from a show at the University of Ghana.
bonchaka was known for wide leg pants, the comb in his hair usually and a walking stick to match.
His uniqueness was unparalleled as he released creative musical pieces within the short time he lived.

Signed to the Zyofon Music record label, he has released ‘Amount’ which is gaining airplay in the music space.
