Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy paid a visit to President Nana Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House yesterday.
He discussed issues bordering on the creative arts industry with the President and also extended an invitation to him to his Fill The Dome Bhim Concert scheduled for December 28, 2018, at the Fantasy Dome.
“I’m humbled and honoured Mr President. It was a refreshing conversation discussing the essence of the Creative Arts Industry and it’s impact on the overall development and image of country. God bless you. @nakufoaddo,” he posted on social media.
[contextly_sidebar id=”k7USYJ4mqWJQtcVULQVt97uYmZbYvtkb”]Nana Addo on his Twitter handle also announced his meeting with the Bhimnation President.
“Afropop, dancehall and reggae artiste, @stonebwoyb, “President of Bhim Nation”, was at Jubilee House a few minutes ago to invite me to his #FillTheDome Bhim Concert, which will take place on 28th December, 2018, at the Fantasy Dome,” he wrote.
This is not the first time an artiste has paid visit to the President at the Jubilee House.
Last year Stonebwoy’s showbiz rival Shatta Wale requested to meet the President as his birthday present and it was granted.
Rapper D-Black and his Black Avenue music group have also had the opportunity to visit the President.
A few days ago, Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo, known in showbiz as Sarkodie, also requested to have a meeting with the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.
According to him, he wants to meet the President to have a discussion on why ‘things are hard’ in the country.
He however added that in the absence of a meeting with Nana Addo, he would resort to releasing songs to address his concerns.
Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert has lined up a long list of artistes including Morgan Heritage.
