Police and military personnel are still patrolling the troubled suburb of Kumasi, Dagomba line in Oforikrom Constituency of the Ashanti Region.
Two persons have been reported dead with about 40 persons injured.
This follows renewed clashes over a parcel of land that resulted in the destruction of properties and the loss of lives.
Police Public Relations Officer for the Ashanti Region, ASP Godwin Ahianyo, told Citi News over one hundred arrests have been affected.
“We have been able to restore calm in the area our men are already on the ground, we have the military police patrol team, both vehicular and motorbike patrol. We are not going to withdrawal our men, as we speak we have recorded two death, we have also had about 40 to 50 cases of injuries,” he said.
Narrating the incident to Citi News, On Tuesday some affected persons said they were asked to leave the area by a man who claims the land belongs to him but they resisted.
More than 100 persons have also been displaced after a fire was set to some structures and some properties were vandalized.

He told Citi News that he only took action after the court ruled in favour when the dispute.
“After eight months, the court passed judgment in my favour. After that, we went to [the disputed area] with the bailiff and they gave us police to come and remove them.”
“We started removing them, they started throwing stones and other things. The police withdrew and later they came with reinforcements but still, they chased away the police with stones and went on to burn our stores.
