Zylofon Music artiste Stonebwoy has called on Willi Roi, a management member of Zylofon Media to render an unqualified apology to his fans and Ewes for a comment the latter recently made.
Willi Roi who is the Head of the music department of Zylofon Arts Club described the ‘Tomorrow’ singer as ‘Ewe Eagle’ in a Facebook post after writing that Stonebwoy receives paltry fees for performances while Shatta Wale is shooting high budget music videos.
“While Stone is busy playing cheap gigs for his pocket, Shatta is shooting multi-million videos. Look sharp! Ewe eagle,” he wrote.
Shortly after Zylofon Media had issued a press statement dissociating itself from Willi’s comment, Stonebwoy took to twitter to vent his spleen at the ‘patented musicologist.’
“PRO Arnold, kindly Cut the Press Release sermon. It is just WISE For Willi Roi To Render an apology To BHIMNATION And the Entire EWE people For The Disrespect..” he tweeted.
This comes on the back of a recent statement Stonebwoy made that anybody who wanted to work with him should contact his personal manager Back Sidi and not his record label Zylofon Media.
Few months ago, there was an altercation between Stonebwoy and some officials of Zylofon Media. This led to the dismissal of the Transport Manager who had ordered some Zylofon workers to take Stonebwoy’s car from him at Champs Bar.
Report has it that Stonebwoy is not happy about the signing of his arch-rival Shatta Wale onto the record label and also believes the latter receives preferential treatment from the label.
Since the Champs Bar incident, there have always been issues with Stonebwoy going about his duties on the blindside of his record label.
Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, who is the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Zylofon Music has admitted that Zylofon Media and Stonebwoy have some issues to iron out.
According to him, lawyers of the two parties have been meeting to resolve whatever problem is hindering a fruitful work relationship.
