Four contestants of Citi TV’s music talent show ‘Voice Factory’ have qualified to the grand finale slated for September 7, 2019.
This was after Lina and KennieKings were evicted from the 7th performance episode.
Therefore, Idara, Cleck Boyson, Ayjay Sam and Araba will be battling it out for the coveted title and the cash prize of GHc 10, 000.
The show started with Araba and Cleck Boyson, each singing Emily Sande’s ‘Next to Me.’. They came back during the second part to do Paapa Yankson and Paulina Oduro’s ‘Tena Menkyen,’ together.
Ayjay Sam and Lina also came through with ‘You are the Reason’ by Calum Scott and did Becca’s ‘Hey Ba’ as a duet.
KennieKings and Idara individually performed ‘Pillow Talk’ by Zayn Malik. After that, they did Styl Plus’ ‘Olufumi’ in the second round.
Gospel musician Edinam Bright-Davies, music producer Kaywa and Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment were the judges for the night.
Hosted by Osei Kwame, co-host of Citi FM’s late afternoon drive, Traffic Avenue and AJ Sarpong, host of Brunch in the Citi on Citi FM and Hall of Fame on Citi TV, ‘Voice Factory’ airs on Citi TV and Citi 97.3 FM on Saturdays at 7 pm.
There are also repeats of the show at 11:30 pm on weekdays.
The grand finale will take place on September 7, 2019, at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.
