The final 2 matches in Week 14 of the Zylofon Cash Premier League saw Hearts of Oak losing 1-0 to Inter Allies in Tema while Aduana Stars beat Bechem United by the same scoreline in Dormaa.
The clash between Inter Allies and Hearts was a reunion of the Phobians and their former coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
The Japanese was in charge of the Phobians between 2015 and 2016 and was a popular character with the fans.
But there was no time for nice memories when the match started and soon, Allies found a way past their guests.
After 20 minutes, Richmond Lamptey scored what turned out to be the winner via a free kick.
Allies moved up to 3rd on the league table on 24 points while Hearts are 12th on 16 points.
In Dormaa, Aduana Stars beat Bechem United 1-0 thanks to a goal from Abu Sadick in the 36th minute.
The defending league champions now have 14 points from their 10 league matches.
However, they have four games in hand due to their exertions in the both the CAF Champions League qualifiers and the CAF Confederations Cup group stages.
