The winner of the Season 4 of Citi TV’s Voice Factory, Araba has said that she decided to take part in Voice Factory improve upon her talent and not to compete against anybody.
Speaking to AJ Sarpong on Brunch in the Citi on Citi 97.3 FM, she noted that she saw the contest as a means of self-discovery.
“When I entered this competition I didn’t do it with the mindset that I was competing people I was competing against myself. I wanted to become a better version of myself. For me, it is more a journey of self-discovery,” she said.
Araba who beat off competition from Ayjay Sam, Cleck Boyson and Idara to win the ultimate prize of GHc 10, 000 also hinted that she would soon be releasing a song.
Araba is an intern at the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens at the University of Ghana.
This year’s edition selected 10 contestants in the persons of Red’M, Idara, KennieKings, Charisma, Araba, Ayjay Sam, Cleck Boyson, Lina, Oye and Debbie.
