The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ntim, is urging delegates to maintain peace as they elect their parliamentary candidates.
Delegates of the NPP are today casting their votes to elect parliamentary candidates in constituencies where the party has sitting Members of Parliament across the country.
He told journalists at the Tuba Astro Turf in the Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom Constituency that delegates should “maintain the peaceful environment that we are operating in. We shouldn’t have any acrimony and all those things. We should eschew those things and continue with the peaceful environment that we are operating in,” he stated.
Speaking on the exercise, he indicated that “So far, everywhere is peaceful, well turned out by the delegates. We are impressed. There is no anarchy anywhere. It has been peaceful and highly participated and competitive.”
